Our new website is live

The Carique website, open at the home page

It is finally here. Our new website is live, and after a fair old while in the making we are properly pleased with how it has come out.

Nearly all of it came from the two questions we get asked on the phone every day. What have you got in stock at the minute. And what is this going to cost me.

The first one was the easy bit. Every car we have for sale is up there with its own photographs and the full details, and you can cut the list down by make, model, fuel or price in a couple of taps.

The second one is the big one, and it is the part we are most excited about. Whatever it is, you can now get a price out of us without picking the phone up.

Tell us what you need

Pick the car out of your garage, say what it wants doing, and add a photo or a video if you have got one. Takes a couple of minutes on a phone.

We price it up and send it back

It comes back into your account with the parts and the labour broken out job by job, so you can see what each bit of it is for rather than one figure at the bottom.

Tick off what you want doing

Have the lot or just the bits you want now. Whatever you leave sits there for a fortnight, so you can come back and go ahead with it later. From there the account picks up the deposit if there is one, the parts, the day you bring it down, and the invoice at the end.

If it is a job we already know the shape of, a service, a set of discs and pads, a pair of tyres, that figure is what we expect the work to cost. If it is a noise or a warning light, it is the price for getting the car on the ramp and finding out what is causing it, and you get a second estimate for the repair once we know. Either way nothing happens until you have got a price in front of you and said yes to it. Now and then something only shows once the work is under way, like a part that is seized solid, and the bill can come out higher. If that happens, we tell you what we have found before we do any extra work.

So have a look round, and tell us what you think. If you spot anything broken on it, or anything that reads wrong, let us know and we will get it sorted.

Ask us for a price

Tell us the car and what you want looking at, add a photo or a video, and we will come back with an estimate priced job by job, so you can go ahead with the parts you want.
